layouts and wording choices
Invitations and menus, for any occasion, require an 'insert' with your personal details on. The first step is to view the layouts (below) and choose the one that you prefer for your occasion. Make a note of the layout number and name e.g. 1a. Traditional, you will need it later!
People think selecting the correct layout and wording for their invitations can be quite difficult and confusing but the main thing to remember is invitations are always sent from the person/people who is/are hosting the celebration, in the case of a wedding, traditionally it will be the bride’s parents. In this instance you would choose a traditional, more formal style of invitation wording.

If you would like your celebration to be slightly less formal and again, in the case of a wedding, the bride's parents are still hosting the celebration, you may choose a slightly less formal style of wording.

The third and fourth options which are becoming increasingly the most popular options, are where the person or couple will host their celebration themselves.
